Guys.....looking at the intense dedication towards our blog just touches my heart. Both of you guys are a part of my identity. The kind of expectations we have from ourselves to be connected to all of us for ever and "NOW". Since we have now created this blog and we have started our resurrection....i think that Bala's idea is a perfect way to stay close. The way I see that you guys are not being able to spend enough time together....it makes me sad and makes me wish if I could just fly back to India forever and bring back the "mojo" of the group.
You guys are the only ones who are able to keep the spirit ("not the beer K") alive even if I am not present there at the moment. Just keep the xing going and cheer up!!
The togetherness of you guys me the biggest reason to feel that I have somewhere to return to!
The trip to Kasauli or Mussoorie is definitely a go as soon as I come to India. Besides that...we should "NOW" try to involve each other in our day to day communication. I mean atleast 1 email everyday to all of us like we used to do in office. That was a really comforting experience...so we should go for it. In the whole day...regardless of the time or place if anything comes to mind where you see our combined involvement....just email it. It could be a line or a word or any idea or thought you feel that should be shared. And this time when I come to India I will make sure that we take as many pictures of us as we can. Those will be the graphics of our history from "NOW" onwards.
I just cant tell you how happy I am being a part of a joint effort to relive our happy days.
Remember guys....Its always "NOW or NEVER"
Love you guys.
Cheers!!

The one with the "NOW"

I agree with you totally dude. We need to spend more time together. We don't see each other for weeks at a stretch. I can understand Suchit's problem but the two of us have no reason to have such a long gap between our meetings. The way we are going, I sometime feel that even if Suchit was here still we guys would ve gotten together maybe once a month or less.
This is sad. We need to do something about it. This blog is a great idea in a way that it atleast projects a connection which is not dead but we guys need to take some time out of our "busy" schedules and hang out more often.
And surely once Suchit is here, the three of us need to take a trip together. Kasauli would b a great option. It's still as beautiful as it was when we went and the drawing room is still intact (refer pic)

The one with the 'NOW'
The other day I was coming back from office in my cab... holding my window seat I was looking out of the window and we were traveling past Gopinath Bazaar. I saw shops pass me by... one after the other.
Strange but very much like life. It just seems that I was with you guys in Mussorie or CP or wherever in our good old days and here we are in 'Iron Wood'! Holy shit man! We are losing our life by the minute.
I look back and feel that the only time I was crazily happy was when I was with you guys. You guys are my brothers man... a bond stronger than blood. The whole shit about starting this blog was to relive those days.
Now I feel may be this wont suffice. After all we can't just survive on our past. We need to do something now. We need to do something together. Now and together. Ya that’s what I am taking about.
Dudes... we need to work something out amongst ourselves that lasts. Something that will ensure that we are together more hours than we possibly could otherwise.
I need help... can you guys think of something? I know I am sounding outlandish... but hey that’s what I am feeling.
Doing something together... Fuck... doing most things together. This 'making a living' thing is what has done this to us.
Maybe if we get together and start 'making a living' it might get us on back to our good old days.

The one with the 'Savoy' .. Continued...
Hey K, going back to the incident where you climbed the tall gothic gate at Savoy... and although it was raining heavily... it was a cold cold night... and we all were tired... you still were the fair choice to risk your balls to jump the gate.
The risk: Losing your balls and the stick
Logic holds: Until then out of us three, Suchit and I had not felt the warmth of a woman. And you my friend had apparently mauled a few coups. So even if you would have lost your 'ahem' it would been a fair as it would have still left Suchit and I with a chance to indulge.

By the way do you guys recall the "master's chamber"? The paranormal ball room in Savoy, which had a monster Piano and huge tables? To me it appeared to be the conjunction of the master's chamber from Hotel California and the room at the top of stairs from dream theatre.
Shit man... that place Savoy is a parallel universe... where the dead and the alive co-exist in open.

The one with "The Savoy" (Contd.)

Ah! The Savoy.
Bala --- That was Raj Kapoor who pushed Poonam Dhillon's putla down the stairs. Not Raj Kumar. Man, that is the weirdest tale I have ever heard. Keshto Mukherjee bartender. And do you guys remember the huge bottle of whisky. I bet he must have drank it all by now.
Also, I remember when I had an 'incident' in the room and struggled for a long time to bring my 'soldier' down. Do you guys remember when the first time we went there, we asked the dude there if they shoot any horror films here and he suddenly turned back and named a few. Man that was like icing on the cake.
Also, who can forget that night when we came back in the rain to a closed gate after having ruined a lot of people's K3G experience and posing as 'Bombay Boys' to a helpless cop. Screw you guys for having made me climb up that gate of hell. When the guy finally came with the key, he just couldn't open the gate.
Too bad they closed the place. They are going to renovate it and f*ck it up.

Remember the seemingly dead / possessed waiter in Savoy... who asked us to go back to our rooms as it was quite late... and it was not proper to watch TV that late at night and also in a place like Savoy... do you guys remember his tone??? Fuck he was scary shit.
I am trying to capture and bring forth the key buzz points of our first trip to Savoy...
Remember the small pup that we spotted and I went after... this was just when we entered Savoy and were to be taken to our room... and I recall Kshitij warning me and telling me that we never know what it actually is... in a place like Savoy we can never be sure... and do you guys recall the burning corpse :)
And lets not forget the magical times we spent in the Writer's bar when I gulped brandy with warm water... and the 'keshtu mukherjee' waiter narrated to us the incidents around famous Bollywood personalities making their trip to the Savoy and writer's bar... I have loads of dope on this... allow me to share it over the next few days... just to ring a bell in our minds... remember Raj Kumar kicking and throwing the putla of Poonam Dillon down the stairs of the writer’s bar?
Fuck man... those were the days!
